What you'll do:
- Collect and study the information on AR/VR/MR development, embedded software development, new human-robot interaction technologies so as to work with team to develop and apply robotics solutions into a variety of industries, especially manufacturing industry, for productivity improvement and innovation.
- Support the assigned R&D work and solution development on human-robot interaction, AR-based robot control etc.
- Assist the project leader to carry out applied R&D tasks against the plan and complete the projects (including R&D work, project documents, technical report and paper, patents, etc.) as scheduled with high standard
- Follow up the suppliers/vendors to deliver services as requested
- Implement the ad hoc tasks when required
You'll be a good fit if you have/are:
- Doctoral degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineer, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Automation, Robotics, and related disciplines.
- Robotic development experience in ROS, Gazebo.
- Knowledge in trajectory planning and generation, Moveit or OMPL is preferred.
- Skill in C#, Unity 3D, C/C++, Python, and other related software toolkits in prefer
- In-depth knowledge of Unity3D AR/VR/MR pipelines
- Experience of working on AR/VR//MR platforms such as Microsoft HoloLens development
- Experience in deep learning, pytorch, tensorflow is preferred
- Good writing, presentation, communication and analytical skills
- Passionate, self-motivated, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Good command of both spoken and written English, Chinese (including Putonghua) preferred
