FLAIR Welcomes Plans by Chu Hai College and HKSAIR to Nurture Local AI Talent

(29 March, 2021) FLAIR welcomes plans by Chu Hai College of Higher Education and the Hong Kong Society of Artificial Intelligence & Robotics (HKSAIR) to offer Advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) Course, aiming to nurture more AI talents and promote the long-term industry development in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.


Dr Ge Ming, Chief Operating Officer of FLAIR, gave his support to the plan during a visit of FLAIR by Mr Cheng Yangchun of Chu Hai College of Higher Education, and Dr Liu Qifeng, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of HKSAIR, on 29 March, 2021 to gain a better understanding of the needs of industry as part of the course planning.


Sharing his idea and thought with Mr Cheng and Dr Liu, and expressing FLAIR’s desire for future cooperation with Chu Hai College of Higher Education and HKSAIR, Dr Ge agreed that there existed a strong demand for AI technology talents to support various technical projects and expected more tertiary institutions in Hong Kong to provide courses in advanced AI.
